PENGARUH SPIRITUALITAS DI TEMPAT KERJA (WORKPLACE SPIRITUALITY) TERHADAP KOMITMEN ORGANISASIONAL (Studi pada Karyawan PT. Bank BRI Syariah Kantor Cabang Malang Soekarno Hatta)

Abstract

Human resources are one of the factors that are very important for the company, because of its contribution as a driving force in realizing company goals. The heaviness of the competition of business world today makes the company not only develop human resources that focus on improving the quality and quantity of work, but also the development of spirituality in its management. Spirituality in the workplace provides the ability of employees to be able to interpret their work in order to create organisational commitment in every employees.There are three dimensions of spirituality in workplace, which is meaningful work, sense of community and alignment with organisation values. This study use explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The purpose of this study is to explain the simultaneous and partial effect of meaningful work, sense of community, and aligment with organisational values on organisational commitment. The research was conducted at PT. BRI Syariah Malang Soekarno Hatta Branch Office. The sample that used was 49 employees, the sample was obtained by using saturated sampling technique.

Sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat penting bagi perusahaan karena kontribusinya sebagai roda penggerak dalam mewujudkan tujuan perusahaan. Beratnya dunia persaingan bisnis saat ini, membuat perusahaan tidak hanya melakukan pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang berfokus pada peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas kerja, melainkan juga pengembangan spiritualitas di dalam manajemennya. Spiritualitas di tempat kerja memberikan kemampuan karyawan untuk dapat memaknai pekerjaannya demi terciptanya komitmen organisasional disetiap diri karyawan. Terdapat tiga dimensi dalam spiritualitas di tempat kerja (workplace spirituality), yakni meaningful work, sense of community, dan alignment with organizatinal values. Penelitian ini menggunakan explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan pengaruh  simultan maupun parsial meaningful work, sense of community, dan alignment with organizatinal values terhadap komitmen organisasional. Penelitian dilakukan di PT. Bank BRISyariah Kantor Cabang Malang Soekarno Hatta. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 49 karyawan, sampel tersebut didapat dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh.
