Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh dari kepemimpinan transformasional secara parsial dan simultan terhadap budaya organisasi dan keterikatan karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian explanatory dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel penelitian adalah Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Budaya Organisasi, dan Keterlibatan Karyawan. Total sampel adalah 60 karyawan tetap PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB) - UP Brantas di Karangkates, Malang dan dipilih dengan Teknik Total Sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan valid dan reliabel dengan jawaban kuesioner responden dan dianalisis dengan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kepemimpinan Transformasional dan Budaya Organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap Employee Engagement, (2) Kepemimpinan Transformasional dan Budaya Organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Employee Engagement. Berdasarkan koefisien jalur, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Budaya Organisasi memiliki pengaruh dominan terhadap Employee Engagement. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan diharapkan untuk mengembangkan Budaya Organisasi di PT PJB yang memiliki pengaruh dominan pada Employee Engagement.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine and explain the influence of transformational leadership partially and simultaneously to organizational culture and employee engagement. This research used explanatory research with quantitative approach. The variables of the research are Transformational Leadership, Organizational Culture, and Employee Engagement. Total sample were 60 permanent employees of PT. Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB) – UP Brantas in Karangkates, Malang and it elected by Total Sampling Technique. Data were collected valid and reliable by the answer of the respondent’s questionnaire and analyzed by path analysis. The research showed that: (1) Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture have possitive effect on Employee Engagement, (2) Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture have significant effect on Employee Engagement. Based on path coefficient, it can be concluded that the Organizational Culture has dominant influence on Employee Engagement. Therefore, the company expected to develop Organizational Culture in PT PJB that has dominant influence on Employee Engagement.
