PENGARUH INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY SET (IOS) DAN STRUKTUR MODAL TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN (Studi pada Perusahaan Sektor Properti dan Real Estate yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2011-2013)

Abstract

The main objective of the study is to know the impact of the investment opportunity set (IOS) on the capital structure, the effect of the investment opportunity set (IOS) on capital structure, and the effect of capital structure on financial performance in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Study use secondary data that published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the year 2011-2013, the research data analysis using methods of data analysis Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GeSCA) with a sample of 42 companies from a population of 52 companies based on purposive sampling technique. The result of this study is the investment opportunity set (IOS) has positive significant impact on capital structure, investment opportunity set (IOS) positive unsignificant impact on financial performance, as well as capital structure positive significant impact on financial performance.

ABSTRAK

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh investment opportunity set (IOS) terhadap struktur modal, pengaruh investment opportunity set (IOS) terhadap struktur modal, dan pengaruh struktur modal terhadap kinerja keuangan pada perusahaan properti dan real estate yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang dipublikasikan di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2011-2013, analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis data Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GeSCA) dengan sampel 42 perusahaan dari populasi sebanyak 52 perusahaan berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini adalah investment opportunity set (IOS) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal,  investment opportunity set (IOS) berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan, serta struktu modal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan.
