PENGARUH IKLIM ORGANISASI DAN ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN (Studi pada Karyawan PT XYZ)

Abstract

The background of this research is how the employee can provide high performance of organizational climate and organizational citizenship behavior. This study aims to (1) find out the description of organizational climate variable, organizational citizenship behavior, and employee performance (2) find out and explain the significant effect of organizational climate on the employee performance (3) find out and explain the significant effect of organizational citizenship behavior on employee performance (4) find out and explain the significant effect of organizational climate and organizational citizenship behavior on the employee performance. The type of research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. The samples used in this study were 72 employee of PT XYZ. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling. The results of this research showed that the variable organizational climate have an impact on the employee performance by 0,186, while variables organizational citizenship behavior has an impact on the employee performance by 0,390. These results indicate that the variables of organizational climate and the organizational citizenship behavior has a positive correlation that can be taken to mean that if the employee organizational climate and the organizational citizenship behavior is experiencing increased, the employee performance will be increased.

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana karyawan dapat memberikan kinerja yang tinggi dari iklim organisasi dan organizational citizenship behavior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  (1) mengetahui deskripsi dari variabel iklim organisasi, organizational citizenship behavior, dan kinerja karyawan (2) mengetahui dan menjelaskan signifikansi pengaruh iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan (3) mengetahui dan menjelaskan signifikansi pengaruh organizational citizenship behavior terhadap kinerja karyawan (4) mengetahui dan menjelaskan signifikansi pengaruh iklim organisasi dan organizational citizenship behavior terhadap kinerja karyawan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian penjelasan (explanatory research) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 72 karyawan PT XYZ. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah proportionale random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel iklim organisasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 0,186, sedangkan variabel organizational citizenship behavior memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 0,390. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel iklim organisasi dan organizational citizenship behavior bersifat positif yang dapat diartikan bahwa jika iklim organisasi dan organizational citizenship behavior karyawan mengalami peningkatan, maka kinerja karyawan akan meningkat.
