PENGARUH INSENTIF TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA (Studi pada Karyawan Atria Hotel and Conference Malang)

Abstract

This study aims to explain the incentive effect of material and non-material incentives on employee motivation that occurs in the employees of the atria hotel and conference malang. This study used quantitative methods which means to explain the influence between the variables studied, type of the research is expalanatory while the method of collecting data through questionnaires. The subjects were employees of atria hotel and conference amounted 114 employees, and can be determined number of samples of 55 respondents. Based on the calculation results can be determined by the results of the F-count 6.957 larger than 3,16 (F-table) and a significance level of 0.002 is smaller than the level of significance 0.05, so it can be concluded material incentive and non-material incentives have the simultaneous effect on employee motivation. From the calculation of material incentives have the t-test of -0.730 and probability value 0.469 which means that incentives are not materially significant influence on employee motivation. From the calculation results also show non material incentives have amounted to 3.066 t-test and a probability value of 0.003, which means non-material incentives significantly influence employee motivation. Keywords: Incentives, Incentives Materiil, non Material Incentives, Work Motivation ABSTRACT Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh insentif materiil dan insentif non materiil terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan yang terjadi pada karyawan atria hotel and conference malang. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang berarti menjelaskan pengaruh antar variabel yang diteliti, jenis penelitian ekspalanatory dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Subjek penelitian ini adalah karyawan atria hotel and conference berjumlah 114 karyawan dan ditentukan jumlah sampel sejumlah 55 responden. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan ditentukan hasil F-hitung sebesar 6,957 lebih besar daripada F-tabel 3,16 dan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,002 lebih kecil daripada level of significance sebesar 0,05, sehingga disimpulkan insentif materiil dan insentif non materiil memiliki pengaruh secara simultan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan insentif materiil memiliki t-hitung sebesar -0,730 dan nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,469 yang artinya insentif materiil tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan. Daripada hasil perhitungan juga menunjukkan insentif non metriil memiliki t-hitung sebesar 3,066 dan nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,003 yang artinya insentif non materiil berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan.
